"Used and Dumped," Some Of My Former Teachers Used me. I'm facing family rejections. I'm an orphan😢 My Dad died when I was too young. We were left three children, elder died and we remained 2 with my elder sister. I'm now the last born. My mom left her home to rental, now 18yrs. I had nowhere to go and decided to look on how I can build in my dad's shamba. It hasn't been easier since I'm a school going. When I plant even maize. I get no return since some of my uncles graze on them. Reason: they don't want me here. They keep on telling me to follow my mom. I kept quiet but it's getting worst. My mom has no job, she lives in a Ksh. 500 rental. Its not easier to her too. I can't ask her but to fight on my own. I entirely depend on 'sealing' motorbike punctures. A day, I can make like Ksh. 200. To me, it's everything, from meals to my school fees. I'm in the 2nd secondary. I couldn't manage to finish in the first one since some teachers who Promised to pay my school fees, abandoned me when I had garnered them the trophy when I was in form 1 and 2. When I was to join form three, I got, from the bursas' office that I had over Ksh. 50,000 fee arrears, that's, form 1, Ksh. 25,000 form 2 Ksh. 26,500 plus other costs. I couldn't believe it. When I told my mom, She told me to go back home because we couldn't afford it. They picked me when I was playing in some clubs in my former primary school, where they made that promise. From then, life to me, is not easy. I had to go to some local secondary school where I'm paying my own school fees. No one supports me. It's this garage job that helps, when everything isn't on my side, I look for some job in the school so that the money i work can be subtracted from my fees...
