In today’s episode, I’m showing what really happens behind the scenes in a plant tissue culture lab. I introduced an Alocasia bambino directly from its pot into nutrient medium — and within days it developed a full fungal bloom. This revealed a hidden internal infection that surface cleaning alone could not remove. In this video you’ll see: ✔️ What the fungal contamination looked like ✔️ How we cleaned and rescued the plant ✔️ Why we returned it to soil for recovery ✔️ Our plan to treat it, stabilise it, and try tissue culture again in a month Sometimes tissue culture goes perfectly… and sometimes it teaches us lessons. This is one of those cases. Follow along as we nurse this little Alocasia back to health and prepare it for another attempt. Subscribe if you enjoy real-world plant lab work, tissue culture experiments, and honest results — successes and failures.
