Maundy Thursday Communion Service 2022

“Maundy” means the day of the commandment, when Jesus gathered to celebrate the Passover with his disciples. There he washed their feet and said “A new commandment I give to you: love one another as I have loved you.” After the meal, Jesus took bread and wine and gave them new meaning in the sacrament we have come to call “Communion” or “The Lord’s Supper” or “Eucharist”. Rev. Keith leads us in a Maundy Thursday Communion Service. You are invited to have something to eat (bread, cracker, cookie…) and something to drink (juice, tea, coffee, wine…) available, wherever you are, so that we may share in communion together.
