Welcome to the ENJOY 30 Days of Face Yoga Series! This series is made for all faces, heads, ages, genders, souls & radiant beings on Youtube. Today is Day 9: FREE “In the process of letting go you will lose many things from the past, but you will find yourself.” – Deepak Chopra Today’s workout is about balancing the lung energy through our cheeks. Through a Traditional Chinese Technology called Face Mapping - we can access the lung energy through these areas of our face. When your lung energy is balanced you have clarity and clear thinking, good communication, you are open to new ideas, you are able to process emotions like grief, sadness sorrow and depression and do not stay in these states for extended periods of time. You are open to change, you feel light and free. You recover from any illness quickly and you are able to set clear healthy boundaries. Physically you have a healthy immune system, you have good deep breathing ability, your skin is glowing with no signs of distress, you maintain good posture and your hair is healthy and strong. When the lung energy is out of balance you experience sadness, depression, sorrow, not being able to process these feelings. A feeling of heaviness and not being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Holding onto things longer than is necessary. Having boundaries that are too weak or building up a wall. Physically you would see sagging & deflated cheeks, nasolabial folds, downward corners of the mouth, crowsfeet that continue down into the cheeks, tear troughs, acne, large pores, skin conditions like eczema, paleness of the skin, hair that is unhealthy or falling out. You may also experience asthma, shallow breathing & shortness of breath, frequent colds & respiratory infections, constant fatigue, & weakened immune system, Today’s workout is lifting and adding volume and circulation to the cheeks with the following benefits: Tone and lift your cheeks in the direction of your cheekbones Add volume to your cheeks Reduce nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and jowls Tone the lower part of your face Increase circulation in your cheeks for brighter skin and lymphatic movement Release tension in the area in between your nose and lips Release tension in the zygomatic muscles and ligament Thank you so much for being here!
