Do share your feedback with us. #SizzlingChickenJalfrezi #ChickenJalfrezi #SooperChef Sizzling Chicken Jalfrezi Ingredients for Chicken marination: Yogurt 1 cup Salt 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp Chicken boneless (cubes) 700 g Yellow food color 1 pinch Red chili powder 1 tsp Red chili flakes 1 tbsp. Ingredients for Jalfrezi: Oil 4 tbsp. Onion (sliced) 1/4 cup Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp. Marinated chicken Tomato paste 3 tbsp. Tomato puree 1 cup Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp Coriander powder 2 tsp Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp Salt 1 tsp Garam masala powder 2 tsp Yogurt 1/2 cup Ingredients for Sautéed Veggies: Oil 1 tbsp. Butter 3 tbsp. Onion (cubes) 1/2 cup Capsicum (cubes) 1/2 cup Tomatoes (cubes) 1 cup Cumin seeds 1 ½ tbsp. Green chilies 4 Red button chilies 6-8 Kashmiri red chilies (dried) 6 Salt 1/2 tsp/to taste Garam masala powder 1 tsp Ingredients for Rice Preparation: Oil 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp Cumin seeds 2 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste Boiled rice 2 cups Butter 2 tbsp Green coriander (chopped) 2 tbsp Directions for Chicken preparation: 1. In a bowl add chicken, yogurt, salt, ginger garlic paste, yellow food color, red chili powder, red chili flakes and mix well. Marinate for 30 minutes. Directions for Jalfrezi Preparation: 2. In a pan heat oil and add onion, cook until brown. Now add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. 3. Add marinated chicken and cook until the chicken changes color. Now add tomato puree, tomato paste and cook for 5-7 minutes. 4. Add coriander powder, salt, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and cook for 2-3 minutes. 5. Add yogurt, garam masala powder, and cover and cook until oil separates and chicken is fully done. 6. Now turn off flame and give it coal smoke for 1 minute. Set aside. Directions for Sauteed Veggies: 7. In a pan heat oil, butter and add onion, capsicum, tomatoes, dried red chilies, Kashmiri red chilies, green chilies, cumin seeds, salt, garam masala powder and saute for 1-2 minutes. 8. Now add these sautéed veggies in chicken gravy. Cook for 1 minute and your chicken jalfrezi is ready. Directions for Rice Preparation: 9. In a pot heat oil and add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. Add cumin seeds and cook for another minute. 10. Add salt, boiled rice, butter, and coriander. Toss it well for 1-2 minutes or until butter melts. Your Rice is ready. 11. Heat a sizzler plate for 4 minutes, place onion slices on it, add prepared rice, chicken jalfrezi, and sprinkle red chili flakes on top. 12. Your sizzling chicken jalfrezi is ready to serve. Preparation time: 30 mins Cooking time: 1 hr 30 mins Servings: 5-6
