Dagali, Norway - Mountain exploding in autumn colors! - Drone film with DJI Mavic 2 Pro

My mom and me took a daytrip to her birthplace and home of many of my ancestors on her side. The place is called Dagali and is a small mountain village, or hamlet if you will, about 140 km nortwest of my hometown Kongsberg in Norway. It was a beautiful day, blue skies, little wind and the mountain plateau of Dagalifjell exploding in beautiful autumn colors! In the video we see some parts of the valley where Dagali itself is situated, the church from 1850 and the Godfar waterfalls. In the second half we have moved to Dagalifjell mountain plateau, where we see a lot of cabins (yes, Norwegians love their cabins! 😀). Actually the crown prince and -princess of Norway have built a cabin in this area some years ago. We also see small lakes, ponds and bogs around on the mountain. Dagalifjell is connected to the Hardangervidda plateau to the west. The Hardangervidda is Europe's largest high mountain plateau and the Nordic region's largest national park. Note: There is an airport in Dagali, but it is rarely used and I contaced them before flying my drone in the area. I was only told to keep my eyes and ears open for any aircraft. 😉 Hope you'll enjoy the video! Stedet heter Dagali og er en fjellbygd ca. 140 km nordvest for min hjemby Kongsberg. Det var en vakker dag, blå himmel, lite vind og Dagalifjell eksploderte i vakre høstfarger! I videoen ser vi noen deler av dalen der selve Dagali ligger, kirken fra 1850 og Godfarfossen. I andre halvdel har vi flyttet til selve Dagalifjell, hvor vi ser mange hytter. Kronprinsen og -prinsessen i Norge bygget en hytte i dette området for noen år siden. Vi ser også små innsjøer, tjern og myrer rundt på fjellet. Dagalifjell er koblet til Hardangervidda i vest. Hardangervidda er Europas største høyfjellsplatå og Nordens største nasjonalpark. Merk: Det er en flyplass i Dagali, men den brukes sjelden, og jeg kontaktet dem før jeg fløy dronen min i området.
