Subtitles: The 1st hack is to Do your homework immediately after you get it. I’ve mentioned this so many times on my channel already but doing your homework immediately after you get it for weaker subjects allows you to understand better because it will be straight after you have had a lesson on it which will ensure you know the information and well and will ensure you will be able to do your homework correctly. The 2nd hack is to Go through your notes at the end of the day. So basically this allows you to memorise the information easier and more effectively as you are repeating it after learning. Before you go to bed read through the notes you took that day, and at the end of the week read through all the notes you took that week. The 3rd hack is to Get rid of the mindset that you have a “weak” subject. So I know that this video title is how to improve in subject you are WEAK at, but basically I want you to get rid of the mindset that you have a weak subject. Pretend you are neutral or even good at this subject. This will make you much more motivated and to study this subject. The 4th hack is to Have a positive mindset going into this subject. So this ties in with the previous hack but having a positive mindset on this subject and just studying in general will ensure you are in the best state of mind to study. Doing this will certainly make you more motivated and will make your studying more productive and effective. The 5th hack is to Try to be interested in this subject. Reading articles relating to this subject or watching videos or Ted talks on this subject can actually make you a lot more motivated to study for this subject. For example, if you struggle with science, you could try to watch ASAP science or read articles on new research done relating to science. The 6th hack is to Use the pomodoro technique. This is such an effective way to study as you can balance out study and rest meaning you will be able to concentrate more and you will be more motivated to study. It’s basically just 25 minutes then 5 minutes rest, repeat 4 times then a 15-30 minutes rest. The 7th hack is to Set goals for this subject. So this sounds obvious but basically setting goals for this subject such as doing 50% of the assignment or homework or even things like getting an a for this subject will really motivate yourself to study harder for this subject. The 8th hack is to Reward yourself. This is extremely important as when you are studying for your weak subject, you want to be as motivated as you can so having rewards will definitely keep you motivated. Anything from small breaks to snacks to money will be helpful. Either reward yourself at the end of a study session OR you could reward yourself for let’s say an a on an exam. The 9th hack is to Find a study method that works for you. So I know this sounds obvious but this is extremely important. Depending on what type of learner you are, there will be different learning methods that work for you. I have a video all about different study methods for different learners so I’ll leave the link up in the cards. The 10th hack is to Spend extra time on this subject and study much in advance. So again this sounds pretty obvious BUT a lot of people can feel very unmotivated to study for their weak subject and may procrastinate. This is why I recommend you to definitely spend extra time and effort into this subject and study in advance. The 11th hack is to Try new study tips you haven’t tried before. So basically using new study tips will make you feel a lot more productive and motivated to study. I honestly can’t stress this enough but you NEED to practice your weak subject. Doing practice questions will be so so so useful and will definitely help you improve and get better grades for your weak subjects. The 13th hack is If you struggle with maths, try the number game. The 14th hack is If you struggle with English, read.
