Today, I have the privilege of sitting down with Dr. Lisa Rainey, an accomplished educator and leader whose perspective I’ve been eager to explore. Dr. Rainey is a 55-year-old African American woman originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who now calls Midlothian, Texas home. She holds a PhD in Urban Education and has dedicated her career to serving communities through teaching and executive leadership in municipal government. Her unique combination of academic expertise and real-world leadership experience gives her a perspective on law enforcement that I believe we all need to hear.
