If you love quick card layouts that look impressive but don’t require complicated measuring, this Slice & Shuffle card technique is for you. With just two cuts and three pieces of designer paper, you can create three beautiful handmade cards in minutes. In this Thursday afternoon card-making live, I’m coming to you from Spruce Grove, Alberta, where it’s very much winter (minus 20°C!) but warm and cozy in the craft room. I’m sharing a fun and easy Slice & Shuffle card technique that works with any designer series paper and cardstock you already have on hand. This layout is perfect for using up your favourite patterned paper without overthinking measurements. It’s sometimes called stack, cut, and shuffle, and once you try it, you’ll see why it’s such a popular go-to for fast card making. In this video, you’ll learn how to: • Cut three pieces of designer paper with just two simple cuts • Shuffle the pieces to create three coordinating card fronts • Assemble clean, balanced card designs with minimal effort • Add focal points using stamped sentiments, die cuts, or embellishments • Adapt the layout for different paper styles, including directional designs I’m using the Endless Love bundle from the Stampin’ Up! mini catalogue, along with coordinating designer paper, heart dies, and simple embellishments.
