Dan Bensonoff's life revolves around his collective homestead which he shares with a motley crew of kids, adults, chickens, bees, and plants. His talk dives into his collaborative approach to living and co-parenting and inspires an untraditional approach to "home." Dan Bensonoff has spent most of his adult life studying and practicing land-based resiliency skills. He is an educator with a focus on sustainable food production, permaculture, food preservation, foraging, and other crafts that are rooted in "the old ways". He currently coordinates and teaches with the UMass Permaculture Initiative in Amherst, Massachusetts. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
