Joyce and I recently had the opportunity to dine at Soul on Main in Nicholasville, KY, and this new local restaurant is already making a strong impression on Main Street. In this episode of Taste and See, we share our full dining experience at Soul on Main, a Cajun-inspired Southern restaurant located in downtown Nicholasville, Kentucky. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality, smiling faces, and the unmistakable aroma of fresh Southern cooking. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes topped with bacon jam and homemade aioli, along with a flavorful garlic-infused Pimento Cheese dip. For our entrées, we enjoyed a perfectly fried Catfish Po’ Boy served on authentic New Orleans baguette bread (yes, shipped in from Louisiana!) and a grilled Kentucky Cuban loaded with pulled pork and melted cheese. Both were served with crispy French fries and house-made sauces that elevated every bite.
