🎣 Hi guys and welcome back to another lure building video! Today we are airbrushing an upscaled version of my 3D printed lipless crankbait and turning it into a bold Fire Tiger pattern . As many of you know, this was planned for last week, but I had quite a bit of trouble finalizing the larger lure blank and getting a clean foil transfer . I’m still not fully happy with today’s foiling result. I’m not sure yet what the main difference is between hot stamping smaller 3D printed lures and larger ones - it might come down to temperature, but that’s something I’ll continue testing in future builds. In this video we: • Airbrush an upscaled 3D printed lipless crankbait • Apply a Fire Tiger pattern • Use 3D printed stencils for added detail • Clear coat and finish the lure This build is also a test to see whether scaling up an existing STL directly in slicing software works reliably - both in terms of printing and action in the water. In the coming days or weeks, I’ll take this larger Fire Tiger crankbait out and test its performance to see if upscaling the 3D model was successful. Even though I’m not 100% satisfied with the foil transfer, I’m still happy with the final result and I hope the fish won’t mind the imperfections. --- 🛠️ Want to make your own fishing lures?
