The 2025 Game Awards had very few surprise winners, but who was the biggest winner this year? Given all the great new game announcements and trailers, I think us GAMERS are the real winners! Subscribe for game reviews and news:    / @teryl_tries   I slept through the first half of the awards and drove to work during the second half, so I had to watch after the fact to catch up with everyone. I was very pleased with most of the winners announced, even if I didn't personally vote for them, but a little grumbly about a handful. Ultimately, this is a fun event to recognize talented creators and give gamers a glimpse at upcoming projects. I was NOT disappointed! I also forgot to mention I wasn't going to talk about the fighting games, mobile games, or VR games because I picked based on prettiest cover art because I don't play those types of games ever. So that's why I didn't mention them. And yes, The Flute Guy is still totally my favorite.
