Assalamualaikum everyone 🤍 Today I’m sharing Desi Style Chatpatay Chicken Chinese Rice – better than restaurant and full of flavor! 🍚🔥 This easy homemade chicken fried rice recipe is made with simple ingredients and cooked on high flame for that perfect street-style taste. The combination of juicy chicken, crunchy vegetables and chatpata spices makes this recipe perfect for lunch, dinner or Ramzan Iftar. Try this quick and delicious Chinese rice recipe at home and let me know in the comments how it turned out 😊 Don’t forget to Like 👍 Share 💛 and Subscribe 🔔 to Desi Kitchen Prague for more easy and tasty recipes. 🛒 Ingredients 🍚 For Rice: 1 cup rice (boiled & completely cooled) 350 gram chicken (cut into small cubes) ½ cup carrot (finely chopped) ½ cup cabbage (finely chopped) ½ cup spring onion 1 cup mixed bell peppers (yellow, green & red) 1 tsp fresh chopped garlic 1 tsp fresh chopped green chillies 1 tsp tomato paste 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp chicken powder OR 1 chicken cube 1 tbsp soya sauce 1 tbsp white vinegar Salt as per taste ½ cup oil 🍳 For Fry Egg: 2 eggs ½ tsp black pepper Salt as per taste 1 tbsp oil 1 – Prepare Rice Soak 1 cup rice for 20 minutes. Boil until 90% cooked. Drain and spread on tray to cool completely. 👉 Cold rice gives perfect Chinese rice texture. 2 – Cook Chicken Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok/pan on high flame. Add chicken cubes or garlic. Add little salt and black pepper. Cook until chicken changes color and becomes tender. Remove and keep aside. 3 – Stir Fry Vegetables In same pan, green chillies. Sauté for few seconds. Add carrots, cabbage, bell peppers and spring onion. Stir fry on high flame for 2–3 minutes. 👉 Vegetables should stay slightly crunchy. 4- Heat 1 tbsp oil. Add eggs. Sprinkle salt & black pepper. Fry as you like (fully cooked or cut into small cubes). 5 – Add Sauces & Spices Add tomato paste. Add black pepper and chilli flakes. Add chicken powder or cube. Add soya sauce and vinegar. Mix well. 6– Combine Everything Add cooked chicken back. Add boiled cooled rice. Gently mix on high flame. Stir fry for 3–4 minutes.
