Quick view of using Adobe Photoshop's variable data functionality. Targeted to designers already familiar with using variable data. Overview: 1) Create a layered Photoshop file. Each variable you want needs to be on a separate file. 2) Create a csv file of the data to be imported. Each column is a variable. Each row is a file to be output. For images, put in the location of the images. You can use the Finder's "get info" command to see the path to the file. 3) In Photoshop, define the variables under the image menu. 4) Import the data to the data set. 5) Export to data set. Note that files can only be output as psd files. If you need a different file type, they'll need to be batch processed after the fact.
