Peru 2012: Traditional weaving in Chincheros

Our last stop on the tour of the Sacred Valley was the village of Chincheros, where we visited a workshop where we were showed how wool is spun and dyed with natural dyes found in the area. It was fascinating to see what a very wide range of colors they could get from only a few plants and minerals. I didn't film this, only took photos, and decided to make the video afterwards once I realized just how many photos I actually had. ;-) I hope you can make some sense of it. :-) There are also a few glimpses from the village itself as we had a short while to look around as well, but since it was starting to get dark by then we really only had a short while. :-)
