O LORD OF GRACE, in the way of Thy divine appointment, I find myself yearning for Thy presence. My heart's desire is truly to invoke Thy name, for in it resides all power and solace. As I ponder Thy grandeur, my mind is a vessel seeking to remember Thee, eternal and boundless. I am a sinner, yet not blind to my own frailty, like a lost sheep calling for the Shepherd. The weight of my iniquities is overwhelming, heavy upon my shoulders, yet unyielding in my quest for redemption. Though my sins are countless, I declare with a trembling heart that Thou art adequately equipped to offer relief. For Thou art rich in mercy, like a boundless ocean waiting to wash over my barren soul. The blood of Thy beloved Son can cleanse from every stain, and I humbly accept this sacred gift. The agency of Thy Spirit is a powerful force that can subdue my most ferocious desires, like a tempest calmed by a whisper. Grant unto me, O Lord, a tender and wakeful conscience, a guide that smites me when I falter. Let my thoughts and actions be consistent, true reflections of Thy love and grace. May I act in solitude as I do in fellowship, walking with integrity in all my ways. In both prosperity and adversity, let me uphold Thy commandments as my guiding light, clearer than the stars in the night sky. I shall strive to hate every detour from the path of righteousness, discerning right from wrong with clarity. May my heart never be satisfied with mere progress but instead crave the pure heights of faith and virtue. To my faith, I shall add virtue, knowledge, temperance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity as my jewels. May I never neglect the essential elements that build Christian character, nor fail to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit. Help me to develop the lovely, adorn the Gospel, and radiate the light of Christ in a weary world. Let me recommend the religion of Jesus, not as a burden but as a joyous gift, lightening heavy hearts. As I walk through the valleys of the shadows, keep me from sinking or being ensnared in the snares of the evil day. May I carry with me divine truths into my daily life, wielding them like a sword against despair. In every fitting moment, let these truths inform my thoughts, echoing in my heart with clarity. Let the warnings of Thy Word be my shield, a fortress against temptation, guiding my feet upon solid ground. May its doctrines illuminate my path, leading me ever closer to Thee, the Source of all hope. In the whispers of its promises, I find comfort, like a soothing balm upon my wounds. As I navigate the complexities of life, may I ever seek to embody Thy love and mercy.
