Round table on Russia-NATO relationship

On March 05, 2019, at IIA Rossiya Segodnya, International Multimedia Press Center, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) held a round table on Russia-NATO relationship. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, Sir Adam Thomson, Director, European Leadership Network, Dmitry Danilov, Head of the Department of European security, Institute of Europe, Russian Academy of Sciences, and Katarzyna Kubiak, Policy Fellow at the European Leadership Network, took part in the event. RIAC and ELN presents joint report "Towards a More Stable NATO — Russia Relationship" http://russiancouncil.ru/~dmQQs The report provides two sets of recommendations, one for immediate implementation and the other for future stabilised relations. There are no shortcuts to restoring trust and ending the current confrontation, however it is in the interests of all that the relationship be built and managed in a way that reduces risk and costs. This report is grounded in reality and offers steps to deescalate tensions and prevent crises.
