Key Topics Covered: European HPC Infrastructure: Building a federated network of supercomputers across Europe, including the deployment of JUPITER in Germany, Europe’s first exascale system, and strengthening Europe’s presence in global performance and energy-efficiency rankings. AI Factories Across Europe: Establishing interconnected AI factories supported by EU programs to accelerate innovation, industrial competitiveness, and advanced AI capabilities across participating countries. European Quantum Computing Ecosystem: Investing in multiple competing quantum technologies, inaugurating new quantum computers in Poland and the Czech Republic, and prioritizing European-developed solutions to reinforce technological sovereignty. Research, Skills & Technological Sovereignty: Supporting over 12 Centers of Excellence (including HiDALGO2), National Competence Centers for HPC access, and comprehensive training initiatives, while advancing European-made HPC technologies to reduce reliance on non-EU suppliers.
