Sales module in Odoo facilitates you with various features which help you to boost up your sales activities by maintaining clear record of sales order and other like pipeline of activities, next activities, customers and vendors for various products etc. Below steps will provide you with complete detail of how to use Sales module in Odoo 10. Step 1:- Create customer by going to Sales module - Sales - Customer (create). Step 2:- Go to Sales module - Sales - Products (create). Step 3:- Go to Sales - Lead (create) This lead can be any previous customer or can be added as a new customer if converted to Opportunity. This can also be done by going to Sales - Your Pipeline (create) The pipeline shows all the qualifying stages from Lead to Opportunity. Step 4:-Now as the lead is converted to Opportunity create a quotation to send it to the customer for getting a sales order. Go to Sales - Quotation (create) This quotation can be sent to the customer by clicking on tab send by email. Step 5:- Confirm the quotation as confirmation is received from customer side.This changes the quotation to sales order. Step 6:- As the SO is confirmed a new delivery tab will appear on right side of the SO. Click on that to deliver the product to its location. Step 7:- This will check the availability of the product and ask for validation. Validate the order to deliver the product to its destination location. Step 8:- If the product is not available the status will be as Waiting for availability or Waiting for another move. This time Rfq is created to the associated SO for Purchase or Manufacture of product according to route defined for product. Step 9:- Invoice the SO after delivery or before delivery going to Sales to Invoice and fill the required. Step 10:- Reports for the sales for months filtered by products,their category or company can be viewed by going to Sales module -Reports. The reports can be viewed in various format like Bar charts, Line charts and Pie charts. Step 11:- Going to dashboard can view complete details like amount received in Opportunities,Invoiced amount,next activities to be done,pipeline activities and many more on single page. This is how one can use Sales/CRM module in Odoo 10.
