Her contributions, featured in publications like Cosmopolitan, The Independent, and Refinery29, reflect her unique perspective. Juno is the founder of Trans Workers UK and the Trans Teachers Network, receiving accolades such as being on the Independent's Rainbow List in 2015 and 2016. A patron of cliniQ, Juno received the 2015 NUT Blair Peach Award for her impactful campaign, 'Why Trans Teachers Matter.' 📚 Juno Roche, whose regular contributions have graced Diva, The Guardian, and Vice, authored 'Queer Sex' (Longlisted for the Polari First Book Prize) in 2018. Her subsequent books, 'Trans Power' (2019) and 'Gender Explorers' (2020), further showcase her dedication to exploring and advocating for trans experiences. 🎬 Award-winning filmmaker and author Polly Schattel, hailing from Alabama, shared her unique journey. Initially trained as a journalist and teacher, Polly founded her own production company, New Southern Films, achieving recognition as a screenwriter, producer, and film director. Her 35mm debut, "Sinkhole" (2004), won Best Feature at the Indie Memphis Film Festival.
