This one hits hard. Probably one of the heaviest tracks (if not the heaviest) on this album - and for Godflesh standards... this is something. Live drums obviously bring a different feel to their songs on Hymns (2001). Long live Ted Parsons ♥ Considering all the sweat/blood/tears shed with Swans and Prong, he was a perfect fit for Jesu/Godflesh. I tried to do his work justice here. Not so easy, for there is more finesse than you'd think - subtle variations in the patterns, accents, etc. More Godflesh covers to come later this year, for sure.
