Ideal for weekends or festive dinners! ⸻ 🧂 Ingredients: For the Dal: • 1 cup whole black urad dal (sabut urad dal) • ¼ cup kidney beans (rajma) • 4 cups water (for pressure cooking) • Salt to taste For the Gravy: • 3 tbsp butter • 1 tbsp ghee (optional for richer flavor) • 1 large onion (finely chopped) • 2 tomatoes (pureed) • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste • 2 green chilies (slit) • 1 tsp cumin seeds • 1 tsp red chili powder • ½ tsp turmeric powder • 1 tsp garam masala • 1 tsp coriander powder • ½ cup fresh cream • 1 cup milk (optional, for extra creaminess) • 1 tbsp kasuri methi (crushed) • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish ⸻ 🧡 Instructions (Short): 1. Soak urad dal and rajma overnight. 2. Pressure cook them with salt until soft. 3. In a pan, heat butter and ghee. Add cumin seeds, onions, and sauté until golden. 4. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears. 5. Add tomato puree, spices, and cook until oil separates. 6. Add the boiled dal and rajma, stir, and simmer for 30–40 minutes on low flame. 7. Stir in cream, milk, and kasuri methi. Cook 5–10 minutes more. 8.
