Greetings, Beloved Congregation and Friends of Palo Alto Adventist Church, As we prepare our hearts for the coming Sabbath, I invite you to join us as we gather once again around God’s Word. This week, I will be sharing a message titled, “Moses’ Heart and Personality.” Together, we will reflect on the life of Moses and the lessons his journey offers to all who desire to walk faithfully with the Lord. Scripture Reading: Exodus 32:11 King James Version (NKJV) Sermon Summary The story of Moses reminds us that God does not call the self-sufficient. He calls those willing to depend fully on Him. When God called Moses, he responded with humility and reluctance, aware of his weakness. Rather than rejecting him, God revealed His presence as the true source of strength. Throughout Israel’s journey, Moses carried the burden of leadership by continually turning to God in prayer and intercession (Exodus 32:11–14). His life demonstrates a central biblical truth: victory in faith and leadership comes through submission to God’s will, not human ability. Moses also accepted wise counsel and shared responsibility, modeling servant leadership grounded in humility. Even in moments of failure, Moses’ life points us forward to Christ—the greater Deliverer—who leads His people faithfully and perfectly. Scripture summarizes Moses’ character well: “Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth” (Numbers 12:3). His life calls us to trust God fully, walk humbly, and remain faithful as we await our final deliverance. How did he go about all that? That is our question this week. I invite you to join us with open hearts as we worship, reflect, and grow together in God’s Word. Happy Sabbath, and may God’s presence be richly felt among us.
