Location: Barnby Road, Newark-on-Trent Date Filmed: 03-05-2025 - Nearest Station: Newark North Gate - Trains: Class 92 (Caledonian Sleeper) Class 801 (London North Eastern Railway) - Featuring: ‪@JTCrossingsUK‬ This video was filmed at 01:00 in the morning and features one of two Caledonian Sleeper trains of the night heading towards Scotland, hauled by a Class 92 locomotive. Not long after, the last passenger train of the evening from London Kings Cross passes, heading towards Leeds. Due to the residential area, the crossing alarms do not sound during the night, so it is silent when the barriers lower. The alarms are usually quite loud when sounding so this was a unique moment.
