Sometimes I design for fun, sometimes for necessity. This one is kind of in-between. I didn't need it, it was fun, but it's something that simply makes everything a little more enjoyable knowing that 3D printing is going to good use. I wanted a bench rest for shooting at the range but didn’t have one. So, I printed one exactly how I thought it should be, using a 3D printer and some design software. The concept was based on some other designs that were researched ahead of time but they all came with a huge cost, which I didn't want to put forward. 3D printed screws were used (I’m proud of that), it seems like ever since I learned about 3D printing threads they've been in almost every design. This is one of the coolest 3D models/assemblies I’ve printed on my home printer. This video is a document of my journey, I hope you find it interesting. Please leave a comment about what you liked about it or didn’t like. It will certainly help me to improve on future videos! If you have a suggestion for a future video(s) please also let me know in the comments, I have quite a few designs in mind but am always looking for new things to do.
