Replacing the upper control arm (UCA) on a 2004 Acura TSX. Applie to first generation Acura TSX (2004-2008). Contrary to the Haynes manual, this video shows how to replace the UCA without removing the front strut. It's a tight area to work in, but by using a jack to add/remove pressure to/from the strut, the two UCA pivot bolts can be removed while the strut is in place. Also included is some video shot from the perspective of the UCA. I taped my contour ROAM camera to the UCA pointed towards the failed ball joint and took a drive. I had hoped it would be visibly apparent that ball joint had failed under normal use, but it's not apparent from the video. Cool shot nevertheless:).
