Battlefield Line - Winter Warmer Steam Gala 2025 - 11/1/25

From the weekend of Saturday 11th - Sunday 12th January 2025, the Battlefield Line held their Winter Warmer Steam Gala event that saw an intensive timetable of full line passenger and local services running. 4 visiting locomotives were in action during the event with 6880 ''Betton Grange'', 2807, 1369 and 71480 ''Fred''. We attended the Saturday of the gala, unfortunately things didn't quite go to plan, a passenger fell down on the platform at Market Bosworth and an ambulance was called out, I heard there were issues or problems with frozen points? and trains ran late as a result. It meant that there were fewer things that I filmed than I would have liked to. But I made do with what I got. The frosty and foggy weather though did make for a change of weather conditions to film in with some nice exhaust plumes as well.
