UPDATE: The LG Gram 2020 is coming out soon (already out in Korea) so you may want to wait for that one if you want the improved 10th gen processor, bigger battery, etc (though at a higher price than the last gen obviously). I've owned the LG Gram 17" for 3 months now, and it's my favorite laptop, and the only laptop I currently use. Here is my honest review of the laptop where I discuss the pros and cons. I'll briefly compare it to the Dell XPS 15 (while making a passing reference to the Macbook Pro). 💻 Where I purchased my LG Gram 17" ► https://amzn.to/35m4pCX 0:00 Why I love it 3:15 Cons 3:50 Webcam test 4:02 Speaker test 4:06 Cons 4:28 why it's great 5:16 message to laptop makers 5:32 price 5:44 Message to software engineers who erroneously handcuff themselves to Apple's Donglebooks 6:16 Unboxing + monologue Summary: Big beautiful 17" screen, thin laptop, and ridiculously light (lightest 17" ever made, lighter than Macbook Air) Very comfortable keyboard, sort of like the 2015 Macbook Pro (before they ruined it), except also with a numpad. 10+ hour battery life Performance-wise it's great for internet browsing, software engineering, basic video editing, and anything else I do 3 USB 3.0 slots Cons: Screen gets a pretty bad glare when you've got a lot of sunlight shining down on your monitor (eg. outside) Only a micro SD card slot, not a full-sized SD card slot Speakers are meh I highly recommend this laptop. Nothing but good things to say about it so far. Update: I highly recommend buying an anti-glare screen protector as it basically fixes the glare problem, makes the screen fingerprint and dust resistant, and I find that it also makes the screen more pleasant to look at. I got one for $17 off Amazon for my 17 inch screen https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08... It only comes with one though, so make sure you install it perfectly (ie. fitting the screen just right, no air bubbles) because if you screw up, then taking it off and reapplying won't work because you'll get too many air bubbles (I learned this the hard way and had to buy another one). I just bought the first screen protector I saw off Amazon with decent reviews though, let me know if there are better alternatives.
