In this episode I clean up a leaf spring, assemble the axles, and rebuild the free wheeling hubs — discovering that generic brake parts are a terrible idea. There’s plenty of old-school engineering, seized bolts, new old stock parts, and the usual Land Rover surprises. Modern suspension might be simpler, but where’s the character in that?
