Market Ketchup ❌ | Homemade Tomato Ketchup 🍅 Without Preservatives | kids safe In this video, I’ve prepared a healthy homemade tomato SAUCE. For better audience understanding and familiarity, I’ve mentioned it as ketchup, though it is technically a tomato sauce. ❌ No preservatives ❌ No artificial colours ❌ No chemicals ✔️ Kids-safe & digestion-friendly --- 📝 Ingredients (with Quantities) 1 kg desi tomatoes 1 medium onion, chopped 5–6 garlic cloves 1 inch ginger piece 1½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 1–1½ tsp salt (adjust to taste) 1 cup grated jaggery (sweetness & natural preservation) 2 tbsp vinegar or apple cider vinegar (ACV) 4–5 cloves 1 small cinnamon stick 6–8 black peppercorns --- 👩🍳 Method / Preparation 1. Wash and roughly chop 1 kg desi tomatoes 2. Add tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and pepper to a pressure cooker 3. Cook for 2 whistles or until soft, then allow it to cool completely 4. Remove the excess water from the cooked tomatoes and keep it aside 👉 This water can be used later in soups, rasam, or curries 5. Remove whole spices and blend the tomatoes into a smooth puree 6. Strain the puree to remove skins and seeds for a smooth texture 7. Transfer the strained puree to a pan and cook on low flame 8. Once it thickens, add jaggery, salt, and Kashmiri chilli powder 9. Switch off the flame and add vinegar or ACV 10.
