YORKSHIRE DALES MIGHTY HIKES - 26 MILES - MACMILLAN CANCER

The People team at Wren Kitchens took on the exhilarating challenge of hiking 26 miles in the stunning Yorkshire Dales for a wonderful cause on Saturday, 29 June 2024. We tackled monster hills, took roughly 62,000 steps each, and raised an incredible £3,514 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Every step we took was for our loved ones touched by cancer. The journey was filled with a mix of emotions - tears were shed, but they were far outnumbered by uncontrollable laughter and endless encouragement. The team work and support we shared kept us going strong! It was a tough day, both physically and emotionally, but also an amazing one! My team and I cherished every moment (though maybe not the monster hills quite as much). But the foot blisters and muscle pain are reminders of our strength and resilience in reaching the finish line. A HUGE THANK YOU, to each and every single one of you who donated and supported us along the way, and to Macmillan Cancer Support for this incredible opportunity.
