The phrase “Mard ko dard hota hai” challenges the long standing belief that men must always be strong and emotionless. In many societies, boys are taught from a young age that crying or expressing pain is a sign of weakness. As a result, many men grow up hiding their feelings, even when they are hurt, stressed, or struggling mentally. However, men are human too they feel sadness, fear, loneliness, and emotional pain just like anyone else. Accepting that men can experience and express pain is important for building a healthier and more understanding society. When men are allowed to speak about their emotions without judgment, it not only improves their mental well being but also encourages stronger and more honest relationships. Therefore, recognizing that “mard ko dard hota hai” reminds us that true strength lies in acknowledging feelings, not suppressing them.
