Welcome to Day 19 of the 30-Day German Fluency Challenge! 🇩🇪 Today is high-stress travel day. We navigate the chaos of a German train station. 🎧 The Story: Anna and Ben sprint to catch the ICE train. They find strangers sitting in their reserved seats, get stuck in a delay ("Signalstörung"), and have to run to make their connection in Munich. 🔑 Today's Focus Verbs (Train Travel): 1. Abfahren (to depart - *separable: der Zug fährt ab*) 2. Umsteigen (to transfer / change trains - *crucial for rail travel*) 3. Verpassen (to miss - *a train, bus, or opportunity*) 4. Dauern (to last / take time - *"Wie lange dauert es?"*) 5. Reservieren (to reserve) 💡 Cultural Tip: Seat reservations ("Sitzplatzreservierung") are optional in Germany but highly recommended on long-distance trains (ICE), otherwise you might end up sitting on the floor like Ben! 🧠 How to use this video: 1. Listen once for the flow. 2. Listen again and try to spot the 5 verbs. 3. Repeat the sentences (Shadowing).
