Todays installment brings us to this community church, as the first of 2 Sunday services was just letting out. We were recording along the public sidewalk on both sides of the exit driveway. Within minutes, 2 individuals from the church security team approached asking why we were recording. When we declined to answer, we were instructed to either move further down the sidewalk or point our cameras in another direction, expressing concerns we were recording kids. I offered the talking points on photography rights & although he took the paper to look it over, he was still claiming it was illegal to record children in California. He then claimed he was just curious as to why we were recording after I called him out for asking if we pointed our cameras in another direction. He eventually handed me back the paper, invited us to attend the next church service & returned onto the property. We continued to document around the opposite side of the property before coming back around to where we originally began. As we were making our way back to the car after concluding the video, a parking attendant asked if we lived in the neighborhood. I didn't give details as to where I live & as a vehicle was entering where the posted sign read exit only, I pointed to the sign for the driver to see & the parking attendant seemed to have an issue whit us doing that, telling us not to do that & let him direct traffic. My partner asked if the parking attendant was his father because he was seemingly trying to tell us what to do & made clear to the attendant that he doesn't tell us what to do.
