Life is good, friends. Today’s car chat goes deeper than just Veezu/Uber work — it’s about the reality of 9–5 jobs, self-employment, UK taxes, and why so many working-class people struggle to ever get ahead. I talk openly about why I’ll never return to a traditional 9–5 job, the lack of recognition, the office politics, and how the system seems designed to keep people on a hamster wheel. Even when you work harder, do overtime, and try to progress, the taxman takes more — so how does that motivate anyone? Driving private hire gives flexibility, but it’s not a “true business.” It still requires 40–50 hours a week of input. What I’m working toward now is something online, something where I can put in less physical hours and keep more of my energy for my own creativity and future. I used to give my best to employers, but not anymore. That energy is going toward building something for myself — something with freedom, something scalable, something meaningful.
