Miranda and Josh traveled all the way from the east coast with this nomadic, adventurous energy! Ready to chase epic views, breathe in the ocean air, and turn their elopement into an experience they'd never forget! They were married at Capella by the Sea in Brookings, Oregon. It's this magical, tucked-away venue overlooking the ocean that feels peaceful and special the moment you step through those doors. It was the most perfect and quaint place to begin their story. When they asked me where the jaw-dropping spots were to explore, film, and just have the best experience possible, I knew we had to show them some of the most breathtaking places Southern Oregon has to offer. We wandered through the redwoods at Jedediah Smith State Park and made our way to Secret Beach just outside of Brookings. The redwoods feel towering and awe-inspiring, and Secret Beach has that dreamy coastal beauty that makes you want to stay forever. Both locations created the most magical experience for their day! The entire time, Miranda and Josh were completely themselves, laughing, cracking jokes, holding hands, and fully soaking in every moment. They're truly each other's best friends, and it was the cutest thing to witness their love all day long (finger guns!). Their dynamic is playful, affectionate, and full of laughter, and that joy carried through every single moment. What made it even more meaningful was that their family was there with them. Even though they chose to elope, they brought their people along to witness it, all the way from the east coast! You could feel how supported they are and how excited everyone was to celebrate them in such a beautiful place. The day felt adventurous and full of life. We explored, we paused to take in the views, we let moments unfold naturally. There was so much joy woven into every part of it. It truly felt like an experience they’ll never forget.
