Overlanding Adventure: An Unexpected Discovery in the Penn Forest

Frank saw an interesting turnoff on OnX Offroad that looked like it may have a good view. Well to his surprise there was no view, however there was a much better surprise awaiting them! On their latest Overlanding Camping adventure, Frank and Stella had dropped the GeoPro 15TB at Basecamp in the New Jersey Pine Barrens and were out exploring the area known as the Penn Forest. Frank had never heard of Bear Swamp Hill, and decided to take the unnamed road to the top. There Frank and Stella explore the Ruins of what remains of the Bear Swamp Hill Fire Tower and learn of the terrible accident that occured there in 1971.
