Hello and welcome to this video on Skinner's operant conditioning. Firstly, operant conditioning is a type of learning where behavior is shaped by its consequences. The more positive the consequences are, the more likely the behavior is to be repeated; while the more negative the consequences are, the less likely the behavior is to be repeated. B.F. Skinner, a renowned behaviorist, developed operant conditioning. He believed that behavior is affected by the environment and that behavior can be analyzed and predicted through the consequences of the actions taken. Therefore, Skinner proposed that the behavior itself is what needs to be analyzed, not the subjective feelings and thoughts that may lead to the behavior. Skinner identified three types of operant responses: positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, and punishment. Hello and welcome to our video on Pavlov's classical conditioning. Ivan Pavlov was a Russian physiologist who conducted experiments on dogs to study their digestive system. During his experiments, Pavlov noticed that his dogs would start salivating at the sound of a bell even before they saw their food. This observation led him to develop the theory of classical conditioning. Classical conditioning is the process by which an organism learns to associate a neutral stimulus with a meaningful stimulus. In Pavlov's experiment, the food was the meaningful stimulus that naturally caused the dogs to salivate. The bell, initially a neutral stimulus, was paired with the food, and as a result, the dogs formed an association between the bell and the food. Over time, the dogs learned to salivate at the sound of the bell alone, even in the absence of food. This is known as a conditioned response, and the bell is now considered a conditioned stimulus. Classical conditioning has many practical applications in psychology and everyday life. For example, it can be used to help people overcome phobias or addictions. A therapist may expose a patient to a phobic object or situation while simultaneously presenting a calming stimulus. Over time, the patient forms an association between the calming stimulus and the phobic object, and their fear response is reduced. ⭕️ বিভিন্ন মনোবিজ্ঞানীদের তত্ত্ব SET #1: https://youtube.com/live/YUb8Sxy_CXM ⭕️ CDP Play List: • Growth & Development | CDP in Bengali... ⭕️ BENGALI Play List: • বাংলা ব্যাকরণ- সমাস | Somas | Part - ... _____________________________________________________ ⭕️ CDP & Pedagogy Paid Course (Live interactive classes ) with Moumita ( TET -2023) for CTET / WBTET Primary & upper Primary Join Now: https://bilov.on-app.in/app/oc/292295... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⭕️ Website: https://www.learntodayfortet.com/ ⭕️ Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/Learn-Today-... ⭕️ Telegram Channel: https://t.me/LearnTodayforTETinBengali -------------------------------------------------------------------------
