But, today, I am going to share 8 ways you can take back your budget AND feed your family wholesome nourishing snacks that they will love. My address is PO Box 122 Woodstock, AL 35188 Sunday • Breakfast: Cinnamon Rolls (with Homemade Biscuits)Ingredients (Biscuits): 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp baking powder, ½ tsp salt, ½ cup cold butter (cubed), 1 cup milk.Ingredients (Filling & Glaze): 3 tbsp butter (melted), ⅓ cup brown sugar, 1.5 tsp cinnamon, ¾ cup powdered sugar, 1.5 tbsp milk.Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk to form dough. Roll into a 12x8-inch rectangle. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll tightly, slice into 10 rolls. Place in a greased 9x13-inch dish. Bake 18-22 minutes. Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze; drizzle over warm rolls.Yield: 10 rolls (2 per person). • Lunch: Broccoli Cheese SoupIngredients: 3 cups broccoli florets, 3 cups chicken broth, 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese, ¾ cup heavy cream, 1.5 tbsp flour, 1.5 tbsp butter.Instructions: Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux. Add broth and broccoli; simmer 10-12 minutes until tender. Blend slightly for a smoother texture (optional). Stir in cream and cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with bread.Yield: ~5 cups (1 cup per person). • Dinner: Beef StewIngredients: 1.5 lbs beef chunks, 3 potatoes (diced), 3 carrots (sliced), 1 onion (chopped), 3 cups beef broth, 1.5 tsp garlic powder.Instructions: In a large pot, brown beef with onion over medium heat. Add broth, potatoes, carrots, and garlic powder. Simmer 1.5-2 hours until beef is tender. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with crusty bread.Yield: ~7 cups (1.4 cups per person). Monday • Breakfast: OatmealWhip up a big batch of oatmeal and top with honey, nuts, or fruit for a hearty start.Yield: Prepare ~5 cups cooked oatmeal (1 cup per person). • Lunch: Chicken SaladIngredients: 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded), ⅓ cup mayo, 2 celery stalks (chopped), 1.5 tbsp lemon juice, salt, pepper.* Instructions*: Mix chicken, mayo, celery, and lemon juice in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Serve on lettuce, bread, or crackers. Yield: ~4 cups (¾ cup per person, served as a sandwich or salad). • Dinner: Fried Ham & ApplesIngredients: 10 ham slices (1-1.5 oz each), 3 apples (sliced), 3 tbsp butter, 1.5 tbsp brown sugar.Instructions: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook ham slices 2-3 minutes per side until golden; set aside. In the same skillet, add apples and brown sugar; cook 6-8 minutes until tender.
