Aquablazing the Shenandoah River/1000 Miles [Appalachian Trail Episode 9]

Days 80-90 ~ Miles 944.3-1066.6 Luray, VA to Front Royal to Mason Dixon Line Spent 3 days Aquablazing in canoes 44 miles down the Shenandoah River. Jumped off of a rope swing. Spent Fathers Day at a random campground for free. Checked out Front Royal, VA and hitched back to Luray, VA to hike the miles we missed while aquablazing. Left Shenandoah National Park. Hiked 8 naked miles on National Hike Naked Day during the summer solstice. Endured a bad storm. Crossed 1000 miles! Walked into Harpers Ferry, WV and enjoyed the Jay Douglas Light Show at the Super 8 motel. Cowboy camped under a pavilion and had interrupted sleep from teenage girls screaming and the police hanging around. Walked up the original monument and had a slow day while half of our group took on the 4 state challenge. To Pennsylvania we go!
