[ Lyrics Posted Below ] It is no mystery that law school is a time of high stress, relentless competition, and perpetual uncertainty. Each student who is audacious enough to take on this daunting three-year venture will likely have to overcome some form of adversity within his or her professional career. But hey, it comes with the territory - because nothing worth doing is ever easy. The legal community is a unique and special group of individuals and I created this video to remind us that even when times get tough we are all still in this together. If you keep pushing through you will find that there is indeed Life After Law! I hope you enjoy the video! Lyrics: Each time my rank comes around It just keeps going down And I can’t break through That top ten percent group And all the debt that I’m in (so much debt) I’m never going to repay it (I sold my soul) But after all is said and done I know I’m not the only one, OH! Do you believe in life after law? I can hear future employers saying I really don’t think you’re smart enough – NO! X2 What am I supposed to do? Bit off more than I can chew And I’m in a haze Haven’t slept for days I need time to brief this (so much time) Not on the Dean’s list (oh the Dean) And everyone on Law Review Said our club is too good for you, OH! Do you believe in life after law? I can hear future employers saying I really don’t think you’re smart enough – NO! X2 And I know that I’ll get through this Even though I’m always wrong And I don’t need A’s anymore (who needs A’s?) I don’t need A’s anymore (who needs A’s?) I don’t need A’s anymore Do you believe in life after law? I can hear future employers saying I really don’t think you’re smart enough – NO! X4 Do you believe in life after law?
