After arriving in St Martin and collecting our new Lofrans Tigres windlass we eagerly set about installing it. We had a few challenges during and after the installation. To celebrate and to test our new windlass, we took our good friends Kenny and Mika out for a sail to Tintamarre island north east of Marigot Bay (St Martin) where we encountered a few teething problems with the new windlass. However, with a little bit of modification and some outside the box thinking it all came together in the end! After more than 6 months of hauling anchor by hand we finally had a new working windlass!
