This Lebanese "Red Lentil Soup" is an old family treasure and a staple at our house. Over years I have tested loads of red lentil soups but this remained our favorite. The recipe could not be easier, sauté onions, vegetables (carrot and potato), cumin powder and lentils in olive oil, cover with water and simmer over low heat for about 25-30 minutes.
