This video answers a frequently asked customer question, explaining how and why our underfloor heating can fit any floor size. The simply answer is YES, Allbrite’s underfloor heating can fit any floor size. Our mats are individual and are available in half metre widths (the smallest) going up in half metre increments to the largest mat size which is 7 metres. We aim to get a floor coverage of between 70% and 90% as well as aiming to find a central location for the thermostat. If you have the thermostat in the left wall, we will run the mats from right to left. This ensures that the cold leads coming off the mat end up in the location of the thermostat. However, if the thermostat is on the top wall, the mats will run from bottom to top. This is the most effective way of making sure we don’t have to run cables all around the perimeter of the room.
