This song belongs to Russian Circles Hey guys! It's been a while since i uploaded a video here. I've been studying abroad and haven't really had the chance and tools to record some other cool songs that are around. Russian Circles is one of my favorite bands ever, actually since i checked their first Ep some years ago. So when i heard their latest studio album 'Guidance' and this song started to play i knew i had to learn it (= The song itself is actually pretty 'simple' in a good way but it has some tricky parts though. I'm not totally sure that the arpeggios (on the first section of the song) are actually played on a electric guitar or if these patterns are the ones that Sullivan plays live but it sounds close enough. There's a whole lot of layered guitars on top so i only played the "main" pattern. I tuned like a standard 7 stringed guitar with no high E string; B–E–A–D–G–B. Here I'm using a Mexican Fender Telecaster '72 deluxe model plugged straight into a Orange Dual terror tube head that goes to a PPC 2x12 cab miked with a sm57 using a Neve 5032 preamp.
