Implementing PINNsformer from Scratch | Interesting merge of SciML and GenAI

In this video, I implemented the PINNsformer architecture entirely from scratch. PINNsformer, introduced at ICLR 2024, opened a new direction for solving complex PDEs by leveraging multi-head attention mechanisms. I began by explaining the core ideas and concepts presented in the paper in detail. After that, we moved on to the full implementation. In the final section, we evaluated the PINNsformer on the 1D Reaction equation, where it demonstrated strong performance with low loss values. This approach highlights an exciting future pathway, combining the strengths of Scientific Machine Learning (SciML) with the capabilities of modern Generative AI.
