ST IVES Walk - Stunning Spring Sunrise - The Cornwall Guide 4K video

Join me for a early morning walk around St Ives' beaches, harbour and lanes as the sun rises on a beautiful spring day. Starting at around 6.30am at Porthminster beach I stroll through the old cottages of the Warren and down to the harbour. Always charming, the harbour is at it's very best in the early morning sun which casts a golden light on the seafront bars and cafes. After a walk to the end of Smeaton's Pier I head around to a couple of St Ives' more diminutive beaches before checking out the surf at Porthmeor Beach. From the beach it is back to the cobbles and cottages of the Downalong and a return to the harbour. The sun a little higher and the tide a little lower I walk across the harbour beach and retrace my tracks to Porthminster. Just before the beach I make one last stop - the Malakoff. This has to have the best view of any bus station in Britain. The views out over the rooftops towards the harbour are simply stunning.
