Early C4 Corvette Air Conditioner Compressor Conversion from R-12 to R134a System Flush & Replace

This is my most precious wife's 1985 Corvette that the compressor had failed and put metal in the system so I did a complete flush and installed a new Four Seasons Compressor number 58238. I also replace orifice tube with the ford blue version in order to get colder air and better pressures. Links to parts I used below Some notes, Heater hose under compressor part number 14081349 is hard to find but a Gates number 19705 works perfect for 1984 1985 1986 1987 Corvettes. I used 45oz of R-134a Freon and 7oz of 150 PAG oil. Now blowing out 42 degree air on a 85 degree day.
