Today I'm installing a 2017 Ram 2500. You're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the Westin custom fit truck bed mat. It's going to be a custom fit mat, as you can see it's precut to contour the edges of the vehicle. It's going to have raised ribs to help channel water away from any items you may have in the back of your vehicle. The mat's going to be 5/16 of an inch thick. It's going to be constructed of 100% recycled rubber and have a slip resistant texture.The nice thing about this mat is, once you get it in place, you get your stuff in the back of the truck, you don't have to worry about items sliding around. The slip resistant material is going to hold it in place, and it's going to work great on your spray in bed liners, because, as we know, if you have a spray in bed liner, you put stuff in it, it's still going to move around a little bit. This is going to prevent that.It's going to have little knobs on the bottom of the mat to keep the mat from sliding around.What's going to set this mat apart from others is the thickness of the material. If you're one of those types of people that load and unload the back of your truck with different items all the time, not only is it going to prevent damage to the bed of the truck, but it's also going to prevent damage to the items you put in the back of the truck.When we get our mat, it's going to come rolled up like this. It may be rolled up a bit backwards. Go ahead and remove your plastic. I'll just slowly unroll it into the back of the truck.As you can see, we just rolled it out. It's not sitting exactly flat. Sit out in the sun for a little while.
